We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during these vital early stages of learning and development.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team, you will help create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
* Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development
* Assist with observations, assessments and progress records
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage social and emotional development
* Prepare classroom resources and contribute to an engaging learning environment
* Support children with personal care needs where required
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with children in an EYFS or early years setting
* A patient, warm and nurturing approach
* A good understanding of the EYFS framework (or a willingness to learn)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Early Years) is desirable but not essential
