Do you speak Spanish?
Would you love a role where you can play, sing, and teach children every week?
Would you like to make a real difference in children's lives while working flexible hours?
We're a small, passionate team delivering fun and engaging Spanish sessions to children across Sheffield.
We're looking for a new tutor with access to a car to run our fun, play-based Spanish Clubs in Sheffield (Nurseries and Primary Schools)
What the role involves:
Teaching interactive Spanish sessions in local nurseries.
Running lunchtime and after-school clubs in primary schools.
Managing sessions independently using a variety of props, games and fun activities.
We are looking for someone who:
Speaks Spanish fluently and communicate well in English.
Has a passion for working with children aged 2–11.
Has the right to work in the UK and lives in Sheffield (or surrounding areas)
Has a driving licence and own car (this is a must)
Has a cheerful personality — fun, energetic, and positive. Be ready to dress up, shake instruments and use silly voices
Can build great relationships with school staff and kids.
Is independent and reliable — confident working solo.
Firm but kind — knows how to manage a group while keeping it fun
What we offer:
£22-£25/hour, depending on experience.
Part-time, Self-employed role during term-time only. No weekends.
A friendly Spanish-speaking team who'll support and cheer you on.
Full training provided.
All session plans and materials are provided – no planning needed, BUT you'll need to prepare the classes in advance, bring big energy, and make it fun
Flexible hours that can fit around other work or responsibilities.
Opportunities to increase hours over time (up to 20/week)
Please note:
This is a part-time, self-employed role.
This is not a single-location role, this is a travelling role.
Tutors move between schools and nurseries daily, so access to your own car is essential. Public transport or lifts won't allow you to reach sessions on time.
Applicants must be available to deliver at least 1–2 regular after-school clubs per week (approx. 3:00–4:30pm).
Enhanced DBS check required – we'll guide you through the application process.
