Procurement Account Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Location: Basingstoke
Hybrid Working Available (2 days per week in office)
We are supporting a long-established procurement consultancy that provides essential services to schools and Trusts across the UK. Following continued growth, they are seeking a capable and motivated Procurement Account Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys managing a diverse range of tender processes, from catering and cleaning to ICT managed services, payroll, reprographics, and maintenance.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will support clients throughout the end-to-end tender lifecycle: drafting tender documentation, coordinating bid processes, evaluating submissions, and ensuring full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.

Key Responsibilities
· Produce high-quality, compliant MoI, PSQ, ITT and RFP documents using PandaDoc
· Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers (phone, email, in-person)
· Manage bid timelines and coordinate all tender-related tasks
· Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets and project documentation
· Undertake complex bid evaluation and financial analysis
· Attend site visits and bidder presentations
· Produce detailed post-project Procurement Audit Reports
· Use and manage In-Tend e-procurement software
· Review and improve tender templates and documentation
· Manage workflow tasks via GenieAI CRM
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement legislation
Skills & Experience
Essential:
· Experience in a procurement role
· Bid evaluation and analysis expertise
· Strong report writing and presentation skills
· Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
· High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Desirable:
· Understanding of the Procurement Act 2023
· Experience using e-procurement platforms (e.g., In-Tend)
· Sector experience within education
· Degree (or equivalent qualification)
Other:
· Full UK driving licence
