Responsibilities:
* This role will ensure full responsibility of all day-to-day financial matters.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for all UK companies
* Production of monthly group consolidated management accounts.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Cash flow management including weekly rolling cash forecasts.
* Finalising weekly supplier payment runs.
* Weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts.
* Preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items including maintenance of fixed asset registers.
* Processing of any intercompany sales invoices.
* Preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items including maintenance of fixed asset registers.
* Calculation of all staff bonus and commission payments.
* Preparation of year end audit file.
* Liaise with external accountants, customers, suppliers and banks as required.
* Management and development of finance team members.
* Develop and refine processes to build efficiencies within the team and its outputs.
* Assist in the development of KPI’s to manage team and business performance.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 2 years post qualified experience ideally in a similar role.
* Experience of managing a team.
* Excellent IT skills including Excel.
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, particularly during month end.
* Experience using SAP (preferred but not essential).
