Year 6 Interventions Teacher – Bridgwater
Part-Time | 2 Days per Week | Feb-May 2026 £130-£150 per day (depending on experience & pay type)
Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Interventions Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a teacher with strong KS2 experience who is passionate about raising attainment and helping pupils reach their full potential ahead of SATs.
About the Role
1. Start date: Week commencing 23rd February 2026
2. End date: 15th May 2026
3. Days: 2 days per week
4. Focus: Delivering targeted interventions in Maths, Reading and Writing for Year 6 pupils
5. Setting: Supportive primary school with a collaborative staff team
The Ideal Candidate
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
8. Experience delivering small-group or 1:1 interventions
9. Confident in assessing pupil progress and adapting learning accordingly
10. Reliable, proactive and committed to improving outcomes for learners
