Join us as a Production Manager and you'll be a big part of this.
* Line manage 4x Senior Production Designers, supporting their growth and development.
* Manage the B&Q Studio production facility to deliver high-quality print and digital assets for Marketing and E-Commerce across B&Q and TradePoint.
* Work with the Studio Operations Manager to allocate appropriate resources to each project.
* Collaborate with E-Commerce to maintain a robust process for requirements.
* Run quality assurance across Studio output and establish clear creative development processes.
* Build stakeholder relationships to understand channel nuances and improve output efficiency.
* Represent production in workload prioritisation and project kick-offs, ensuring briefs are clear and actionable.
* Ensure the team maintains a "quality over quantity" mindset and meets agreed timelines.
* Build a close relationship with KITS to stay updated on and B&Q app changes.
* Contribute to expanding the Studio's creative reputation and service offering.
* Stay current with software developments, especially AI, to enhance production efficiency.
* Support sourcing and managing third-party production resources to match in-house quality.
* Minimum 7 years' experience in a commercial studio, content production team, or agency.
* Expert knowledge of production techniques for digital, reprographic, and print applications.
* Thorough understanding of production process development.
* Experience leading a large team in an agile environment.
* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects.
* Expertise in web design and coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design).
* Skilled in HTML5 for display advertising.
* Good knowledge of CGI programs (e.g. Cinema 4D).
* Technical understanding of back-end web technologies.
* Ability to interrogate and challenge briefs.
* Strong influencer with excellent stakeholder management.
* Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
