Overview Reporting to the Equipment Manager the successful candidate will work across sites with the ability to work on a range of 200mm and 300mm Semi-Conductor Equipment specializing in the Deposition department. Support Operations and Technicians routinely and communicate across department teams as required. As part of the Equipment team, minimize tool down time to exceed equipment uptime targets. Key tasks Work on installations, commissioning, upgrades, preventative maintenance, repairs and decommissioning of all Deposition Equipment as required. Support Production requirements and Operators in a team environment. Working on a day shift with some out-of-hours or weekend support as required by business needs. To review and develop training plans, documentation and helping to maintain a technical training matrix and providing training where required to team members. To identify potential improvements for maintenance activities to maximise efficiency and supporting the implementation of these improvements where required. To work alongside Production Planning to agree priorities and ensure demand is met. Maintain tool tracking system, reports, and parts relevant for equipment overall. Report and present technical reports on equipment performance excursions. To support the efficient management and running of Cleanrooms activities including Health and Safety, 5S and CIP's. Secondary support for other areas such as Etch, Photolithography, BEOL, Bake, Metrology and Automation. Qualifications and training HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in an Engineering Discipline. Experience in Deposition processing in a volume manufacturing environment Microsoft Office / 365 Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Experience of working within a Quality Systems environment such as ISO9000. Skills and experience Working experience within a high-volume semi-conductor manufacturing environment specifically in Deposition include ALD, CVD, PVD and Magnetron processes. Ability to meet deadlines and manage own time and workload using excellent organisational skills Extensive use of Hand Tools and Test Equipment. Strong ability to systematically fault-find on complex equipment. Working as part of a team and to work alone using own initiative. Able to create detailed written procedures (such as from equipment manuals) for maintenance tasks to be performed. Mentoring and training of Technicians, Apprentices and Junior Engineers as required. Reporting of Standard KPI's and having input into CIP activities.
