ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their team at ALS Trowbridge. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques and supporting our sample receipt department on weekends. This role requires someone with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures.
About The Position
Shift patterns available:
* 9am-9pm 4 days on 4 days off
* Sunday-Thursday 12:30-9pm
* Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £26,867 per annum
The Day To Day
* Perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology.
* Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
* Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment.
* Ensure workstation is always clean and tidy.
* Conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
* Keep accurate records.
The Essentials
* Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Keen eye for detail.
* Excellent time‑management skills.
* Methodical approach to work.
