The Burial Services Apprentice is responsible, as part of a team within the Burial Services Team, for the preparation and digging of graves, grass cutting, and a variety of maintenance work.
The Apprentice is expected to deal with members of the public in a sensitive manner and to maintain confidentiality.
Over a 2-year period, the Apprentice will complete an SVQ in Horticulture SCQF Level 5 and gain practical experience in grave digging, interment, grass cutting, and a wide range of burial ground maintenance duties.
