Applications are invited for this full time Clinical Fellow post, based at Ninewells Assisted Conception Unit (ACU), Dundee. The appointee will join a team of four consultants with specialist interests in reproductive medicine to provide general infertility and assisted conception services. Ninewells hospital is a teaching hospital, and the appointee will be expected to be involved in both undergraduate and post-graduate training. The post is fixed term for up to 23 months/end August 2027.
Ninewells ACU provides approximately 450 IVF/ICSI and 300 frozen embryo transfer cycles per year and has an internationally leading research programme. The appointee will be expected to participate in all aspects of medically assisted reproduction, including clinics, transvaginal ultrasound, egg collection and surgical sperm retrieval. Preference will be given to those who have completed MRCOG and have completed gynaecology intermediate scanning. There may be opportunities to practice specialist areas of activity in Reproductive Medicine or research, according to the successful candidate’s interests and/or expertise and the priorities and interests of the department.
