Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Experienced Excavator Operator / Groundworker. The responsibilities for this role include operating heavy equipment for excavation, performing groundworks, maintaining equipment, and digging trenches as required by specific project plans. The role requires adherence to safety standards and collaboration with team members to meet project timelines in an efficient and safe manner. Certification: A valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) card, specifically for 360 excavators.
Experience: Proven experience in a construction or civil engineering environment, particularly in groundworks deep drainage, piling and trench shoring.
Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge, an understanding of health and safety regulations, and the physical fitness to work outdoors.
Flexibility: A willingness to assist with general groundworks tasks when not operating machinery.
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is often essential due to site locations being inaccessible by public transport.
