Applications are invited for the fixed‑term full‑time post in the Public Health Collaborating Unit in the School of Health Sciences at Bangor University (Wrexham Technology Park, Wrexham). The Public Health Collaborating Unit is a public health/academic collaborative funded by Public Health Wales which provides a flexible and efficient resource for rapid assessment, evaluation and policy development support to serve Public Health Wales and the wider NHS.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing research support for projects in the PHCU, evaluating trauma‑informed training, contributing to systematic literature reviews, supporting study development, and contributing to mixed‑method data collection, management and analysis, as well as report and paper writing.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a health‑related subject and have prior experience in applied public health research. Knowledge of public health and research methods, excellent written communication skills, proficiency in qualitative data collection methods, and experience using research software for quantitative analysis are essential.
Employment Details
The successful candidate will commence as soon as possible and the post is available until 31st March 2027. The role is located on campus at Wrexham. In line with our Dynamic Working framework, there is an option to spend some time working remotely (within the UK) to support work‑life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates during interview.
