Overview

We are seeking an Industrial Placement Candidate (IPC) with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude to join our Operations team. The IPC will support the global L3Harris business in a fast-paced environment, assisting with project bidding and management across various business units throughout the project lifecycle. This includes preparing comprehensive, competitive, and customer-focused bid proposals for a variety of new business opportunities.
The Operations team collaborates across the company to develop solutions and meet customer needs. The IPC will gain exposure to engineering, supply chain, sales, project management, finance, commercial, and marketing functions, engaging with key stakeholders and presenting to C-suite executives for approvals. The role also involves participating in strategic initiatives to drive change and continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities
* Supporting Project Management and Operations teams with various tasks, reports, and stakeholder collaborations
* Managing Acron Aviation functional teams to review customer requirements and define project scope
* Preparing and managing handovers to contract delivery for successful project launches
* Supporting governance processes to secure timely approvals
* Maintaining records of bids and proposals, ensuring documentation accuracy
* Facilitating value-focused solutions aligned with customer requirements, involving Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders
* Upholding high ethical standards and complying with company policies
* Performing additional duties to support business objectives
Qualifications And Skills
Ideal candidate will be studying a relevant degree such as Business Management or Finance with a Business Management module. Essential skills include:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* Attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Commercial awareness and risk management understanding
