We’re excited to expand our influence with a Senior Customer Insights Manager who will lead all Shopper and Market Insight topics. This role is pivotal in identifying innovative solutions to Lidl’s challenges and helping us achieve our goal of Turning Customers into Fans.
Your Role
As a Senior Customer Insights Manager, you will:
* Analyze Consumer (Household) and Retail (POS) Panel data to strengthen Lidl’s market position.
* Influence key decision-makers, including the Board of Directors and various departmental leaders.
* Lead key category range reviews, providing insights on product, price, and promotion.
* Identify and prioritize category opportunities, spearheading strategic management projects.
* Deliver regular business performance updates to senior stakeholders to inform and inspire.
* Utilize a mix of datasets to explain market and customer dynamics.
* Lead fellow insight colleagues within the Shopper and Market Insight function.
* Collaborate with teams working on Customer Research, Satisfaction, and Brand Health.
* Enhance the customer journey across various departments, including Loyalty & CRM and Corporate Affairs.
* Manage relationships with data agencies and lead budget responsibilities.
* Work with Lidl International to improve data usage across the group.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience with Consumer and Retail Panel data (e.g., Kantar, NIQ, Circana).
* The confidence to work closely with senior leaders and embrace constructive feedback.
* A team-first mentality, with the ability to lead and support junior members.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and deliver actionable insights.
* Creativity and commercial acumen to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
* Self-motivation and strong organizational skills to achieve results independently.
* Decisive thinking to manage demanding targets and tight deadlines.
