The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear, Beauty and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility. About The Role: As a Search and Navigation Trading Assistant, you will play a key role in driving website trading for the Womenswear Non-Clothing division. You will work closely with cross functional teams - SEO, Product and Data where strong communication skills are essential to align strategies and maximise performance. With a focus on data-led decision making, you’ll ensure the customer journey is optimised, while supporting new key launches, key seasonal changes and emerging trends to enhance visibility and drive commercial success. What else is involved? Support the business manager to maximise the performance of all funnel metrics for Womenswear Non-Clothing search & navigation (eg. search conversion rate, nav performance, click through rate) and driving forward net sales. Optimise the top Womenswear Free Type search terms and ensuring delivering the best customer journey. Make changes to key touch points of the website based on highest traffic Womenswear pages (Redirects, Search Banners, Facets & Filters, Synonyms etc) Review sort orders and suggest opportunities to improve, as well as flagging any issues. Work closely with the SEO team to improve SEO performance and rankings. With exceptional commercial understanding and analysing key online metrics, you’ll help to identify and suggest ways to create a more engaging online experience for our customers and improve conversion Utilise online trading tools to identify and optimise site navigation, search and customer journey. About You: Experience within eCommerce Trading or Online Merchandising. Experience of working on Search and Navigation focused role is preferred but not essential. Analytical and comfortable with large volumes of data. Organised, thorough and excited by a challenge you’ll work well in a busy and fast moving environment. Good at prioritising workload to meet requirements and tight deadlines. Great attention to detail Good communication skills & able to effectively work with members of both the immediate and wider team, at varying levels Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude who is able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment.
