Your new role
You will be the first point of contact for all IT related issues, delivering a professional and efficient service. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing 1st‑line support to users across the site
2. Logging all calls accurately within the service management system
3. Triaging incidents and service requests to determine priority and required action
4. Escalating issues to 2nd‑line or specialist teams when appropriate
5. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and account ‑ related problems
6. Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 and standard enterprise applications
7. Maintaining clear and accurate documentation
8. Ensuring a positive customer experience at every interaction
What you'll need to succeed
9. Previous experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
10. Strong understanding of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
11. Confidentmunication skills and a proactive approach
12. Ability to work on site 5 days per week in Stevenage
13. Active SC Clearance (essential)
14. Candidates must meet specific nationality requirements due to security restrictions.
