Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Responsibilities
* Bookkeeping services for a small number of local clients. This includes maintaining/checking the client’s bookkeeping software, and providing management accounts and other reports to directors. This may very occasional client visits together with remote connection from our offices;
* Preparation and timely submission of quarterly VAT returns under MTD from source information. Communication with clients to ensure all issues are resolved and that clients understand their liability and payment dates;
* Assisting with preparation of sole traders accounts and for some Limited Company clients.
* Ad hoc administrative duties, answering client calls, raising invoices.
Relevant experience and skills:
1. AAT qualified or qualified by experience
2. Ideally have experience in working in an accountancy practice
