GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. is the employer. The role is for a full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Birmingham for our customer, a British retailer, WHSmith.
You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, with the start time window of 03:00 – 07:00. You will be contracted to work any 5 days from 7, with regular patterns typically including: Tuesday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, or Monday–Friday (with flexibility to cover weekends when necessary).
What You Will Do On a Typical Day
* Deliver and collect goods to and from customer stores, including airports, hospitals and service stations (1–5 drops per shift)
* Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
* Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
* Be compliant with Drivers hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
* Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
* No more than 6 current penalty points
* No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
* Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable

* Annual salary of £32,269 plus a loyalty bonus of up to £440 per month (potential earnings of up to £37,549 per annum without overtime)
