Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is a Specialist Haemoglobinopathies Team and part of the East Midlands Sickle and Thalassemia network, as well as a Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre.
Our inpatient unit includes a Teenage Cancer Trust area, daycare facilities, and paediatric intensive care access, with post-autologous stem cell transplant care in partnership with Sheffield.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work as part of the consultant team to provide inpatient care to the haematology and oncology service on a 1 in 7.5 service week basis, as well as looking after specific named patients with leukaemia and solid tumours. The post is for 10 PAs, with applications invited from those wishing to consider job share or more flexible arrangements, which can be discussed.
It is essential that applicants have specific training in either paediatric haematology or oncology, are fully registered with the GMC with entry to the specialist register for haematology or oncology expected within 6 months or a CESR expected within 1 year. Please refer to the job description for full details. Enquiries and visits are very welcome.
