Based in Heysham with nationwide travel.
Responsibilities:
* Identify Opportunities: Research and pinpoint new business prospects, including emerging markets, growth areas, and innovative partnerships.
* Relationship Building: Foster lasting connections with customers, partners, and stakeholders to secure repeat business and discover new opportunities.
* Strategic Vision: Think big! Set objectives and develop strategies to enhance business growth and engage new audiences.
* Bid Support: Lead and assist in bid-writing for grants and tenders to enhance our competitive edge.
* Product Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and confidently present them at exhibitions and conferences.
* Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to discuss promotional strategies and activities.
* Networking: Utilise various channels to attract customers and actively participate in seminars and events to expand your professional network.
* Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer visits to follow leads and ensure top-notch service delivery.
* Budget Contribution: Contribute to the creation of annual budgets and tactical plans.
Performance Measure:
* Achieve key performance indicators aligned with business strategies.
* Participate in annual performance reviews.
* Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
* Drive increased business and profitability.
Qualifications:
* Educated to graduate level with exceptional communication skills.
* Proven track record in a similar role with demonstrated achievements.
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
* Willingness to travel outside the UK, if necessary.
* Completion of the IOSH Managing Safely course is a plus.
