A dynamic Stroud organisation requires a Management Accountant on a permanent basis to take ownership for the month-end reporting function. The culture of the company is supportive and encourages people to look for improvements and there are opportunities to make a notable difference.
Role responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts
* P&L review with commentary relating to any variances
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
* Provide variance analysis and information to budget-holders
* Oversight of monthly payroll
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process
* Provide analytical support to the senior management team
Candidate background
* Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent) with experience gained within management accounts
* Experience of preparing journals, prepayments and accruals and balance sheet recs
* Able to look at a P&L and review accordingly and draw conclusions
* Good level of Excel skills
* Has a positive, can-do attitude
* Can work at pace in a high change environment
