Our client, a successful and growing business within the food industry, is expanding their technical team and seeking a Technical Coordinator to support their busy site operations.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the site maintains the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. You will support the technical function across the site, helping to ensure audit readiness and compliance with BRC and customer standards.
Key responsibilities:
-Assisting with maintaining BRC and food safety standards across the site.
-Ensuring the site is audit-ready at all times.
-Managing customer complaints and ensuring correct resolution procedures.
-Handling supplier approval and raw material specifications.
-Acting as a key member of the HACCP team.
-Supporting external audits, including customer visits.
-Leading internal audits as part of the internal audit team.
-Participating in factory audits and site meetings.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a technical role within the food industry is essential.
-Strong knowledge of BRC and HACCP standards.
-Experience working with major retailers.
-Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-Specific product category experience is not required - a strong technical background is key.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
