The Role
The role of Senior Audit Associate has become available as the business look to add proven experience to their ever-growing Audit function.
Our client is in search of an individual with past experience of working within a similar role, alongside previous experience of operating within a fast-paced, practice environment. The successful candidate will assume duties which sees them become a key point of contact for clients, dealing with queries and identifying areas in which other areas of the business could offer support.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for planning, fieldwork, and completion of audits, assuming a key role within the audit function, managing delivery expectations and highlighting any potential issues at an early stage
* Execute planning and completion of audit work in accordance with internal processes and procedures
* Identify and undertake more complex audit areas during fieldwork, with guidance, referring any queries to more senior members of the team
* Demonstrate the ability to act as the client's main point of contact on site whilst conducting audit fieldwork, dealing with queries in a timely manner
* Attend planning and clearance meetings, taking an active role within meeting preparation, contributing effectively to discussion, and answering both client and colleague queries where applicable
* Manage work delegated to junior members of the team whilst assuming responsibility for overall delivery to meet deadlines
Experience
For the role of Senior Audit Associate, the below criteria are desired .
* Previous experience of operating within a practice environment.
* Part Qualified or Qualified through ICAS/ACCA
