What You'll Be Doing
You'll manage your own client portfolio while collaborating with senior colleagues on a range of business rates matters, including:
* Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies
* Inspecting and valuing commercial properties for rating purposes
* Negotiating with the Valuation Office Agency and Billing Authorities
* Attending client meetings and supporting business development initiatives
What We're Looking For
* MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification
* Experience in business rates valuation (private sector or VOA backgrounds welcome)
* Strong understanding of rating legislation and the Check, Challenge, Appeal process
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Commercially aware, proactive, and a strong team player
