About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and care.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should possess excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Effective communication skills, including listening and giving clear instructions, are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate dependent on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
