Overview
An excellent opportunity has become available within Clinical Haematology for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic nurse leader to join Fletcher Ward, an 18 bedded nationally recognised transplant unit. JACIE accredited with pioneering treatment for adults with haematology malignancy including CAR-T, a specialist service for lymphoma, myeloma and other haematological malignancies. It has 3 TYA beds and the Nottingham transplant centre is one of the biggest in the UK.
We are looking to recruit a visible ward sister/charge nurse who is a professional role model dedicated to delivering high standards of care, who loves to develop others to become excellent at what they do and wants to make a difference.
Responsibilities
* Be self-driven and innovative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Provide leadership and accountability for the efficient and effective operational management of the ward.
* Provide support and supervision of nursing and non-nursing staff.
* Assist in maintaining and monitoring key performance indicators.
