We are looking for a qualified social worker for a full‑time position at HMP Parc, a Category B men's prison. The role is open for a 12‑month contract.
Responsibilities
* Assessing, planning and delivering the social care needs to complex patients with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
* Providing assessments and reviews for residents in receipt of care and support.
* Attending multi‑agency meetings and contributing to multi‑professional working.
* Maintaining accurate record‑keeping and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Successful completion of G4S/HMPPS vetting.
* Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
* Ability to communicate in Welsh.
* A valid driving licence.
* Experience working within a prison or secure setting is desirable.
