Job summary
You will be responsible for booking outpatient appointments over the Trust sites. You will have an active role in the implementation, as well as ongoing monitoring of both new and existing appointments systems.
You will assist with meeting Trust targets and will be required to offer very high customer service skills for patients and both internal and external staff.
Visa Sponsorship:This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract.
Main duties
* Arranging appointments over the telephone with patients
* Booking patient appointments from waiting lists
* Booking patients to workshops
* Rescheduling and cancelling appointments at short notice, when required
* Liaising with clinical admin, psychologists, physiotherapists and consultants

Qualifications Essential
* GCSE English and Maths pass or equivalent
* ECDL or equivalent

* NVQ Level 2 Administration or equivalent practical knowledge
Experience Essential
* Experience of working in a hospital or busy office environment.
* Significant experience in difficult patient situations.
* Customer care experience
* Has used Epic/other electronic healthcare suite

* Previous booking experience

* Good communication skills both verbal and in writing
* Excellent customer service skills and evidence of dealing with telephones and meeting targets
