Our structured environment benefits dogs by providing routine and stability, with daily schedules that include breed-specific care, structured play, engaging training sessions, and designated rest periods. Responsibilities:
* Supervise and interact with dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Organize and lead engaging activities, such as group play sessions, walks, and mental stimulation exercises.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitizing play areas and equipment.
* Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
* Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or requests.
* Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* You must have Level 3 Animal Management Qualification or equivalent.
* Full Clean Manual Drivers License - and have driven for at least 4 years.
* Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Previous experience in a similar role or in animal care is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Hours:
* This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for a flexible role.
* We can offer a range of hours from 16 hours - 30 hours.
* Ideally looking for a staff member willing to cover last min and be flexible in terms of working shifts.
