Senior Health and Safety Advisor Location: Northam hire / Oxfordshire area Rate: £45000 - £52.000 Contract Type: Permanent Industry: Civil Engineering / Construction (Railway Infrastructure) About The Role My client is recruiting for an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you will work within an established safety team, supporting the safe delivery of the project by driving all aspects of Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) across the assigned Delivery Area. Your responsibilities will include promoting corporate and local SH&W campaigns, conducting site safety inspections, identifying trends, and advising on the close-out of audit and inspection findings. You will foster strong relationships with operational teams and supply chain partners to monitor and improve SH&W performance. The role also involves carrying out internal audits, assuring compliance with the Business Management System (BMS), and actively promoting a positive safety culture and wellbeing initiatives onsite. About You The ideal candidate will hold a minimum NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) and possess Tech IOSH status or higher. You will have strong practical knowledge of health and safety in construction environments, with proven experience influencing SH&W culture and performance at an operational level. Excellent communication and engagement skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and a valid CSCS card are mandatory requirements.
