Job Description
3. Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and actionable commentary.
4. Produce board-ready financial packs including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, and risk indicators.
5. Support leadership ahead of board meetings by explaining results, forecasts, and financial implications.
6. Own and deliver the monthly financial pack ensuring executive-level clarity and insight.
7. Maintain rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.
8. Build scenario-based financial models to support strategic decisions.
9. Support the annual budgeting process with robust analysis.
10. Actively manage collections performance and overdue balances.
11. Support early payment incentives, late payment fee strategies, and pricing tools.
12. Improve visibility and control over working capital and borrowing costs.
13. Maintain integrity of the nominal ledger and financial postings.
14. Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
15. Coordinate and respond to audit queries and prepare year-end schedules.
16. Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end audit processes.
17. Strengthen financial controls to support business growth.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
18. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
19. Proven experience in financial management within the business services industry.
20. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
21. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
22. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
