GSL Education are seeking a passionate Teacher of Art & Design to join a vibrant secondary school in the NG32 area of Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can encourage creativity, build practical skills, and help students express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums. About the Role: As a Teacher of Art & Design, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, innovative lessons across Key Stages. You will support students in developing their artistic techniques, experimenting with materials, and producing high-quality work that reflects their individuality and creativity. Your responsibilities will include: Curriculum Delivery: Plan and teach Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum. Creative Engagement: Inspire students to develop their creativity through a range of techniques, materials, and projects. Assessment & Feedback: Track progress, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback to support improvement. Classroom Environment: Create a positive and stimulating environment where students feel confident to explore their ideas. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Creative Arts department to develop resources and share best practice. To excel as a Teacher of Art & Design, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Art, Design, or a related subject. Experience teaching Art & Design at KS3 and KS4. Strong practical and theoretical art skills. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management abilities. A commitment to fostering creativity and supporting student development.
