Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced classs 2 drivers to join our drainage team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety. This role requires a keen understanding of commercial vehicles however full training will be given.
Duties
Operate drainage tankers lorries.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and deliveries as per legal requirements.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of loads on flatbed vehicles.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid HGV licence.
Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is highly desirable.
Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: £15.50-£18.00 per hour
