Job overview
The role
Brinsworth Academy is looking to expand its team of exam invigilators to support the delivery of examinations.
Invigilators contribute to ensuring a calm environment for the exams, giving candidates full confidence in the examination process. They ensure that the right candidates are in the right place and give out vital information such as start and finish times of exams, ensuring all learners have the correct materials and information for the exam, as well as helping to prevent malpractice.
It is important that exams are conducted in the correct way and in accordance with strict JCQ regulations. Invigilators are therefore crucial to this process and need to be reliable, punctual, flexible, meticulous, vigilant, and able to relate to learners in a high-pressure environment.
This is a part time role on a casual basis but one that can make a real difference.
