Role Overview
This is a full-time, primarily office-based role for a qualified Arboriculturist, with occasional opportunities for remote work. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing UAV (Drone) aerial survey data, identifying species, and producing precise vegetation management plans that balance environmental sustainability with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and interpret UAV (Drone) survey footage of lineside environments
* Accurately identify tree species and assess vegetation health
* Categorise vegetation types and assess potential risk
* Produce safe, efficient, and sustainable work prescriptions within time-critical frameworks
* Collaborate with operational teams to support project delivery
Key Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
* Strong tree identification skills and understanding of tree health, physiology, and disease
* Experience with vegetation risk management practices
* Excellent analytical and organisational skills
* Comfortable working independently and in a team
* Strong IT proficiency and reporting capability
* Full UK driving licence
* LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certification (desirable)
* Prior experience with tree inspections and surveys (desirable)
Location Requirement:
Candidates should live withinthe Essex, as regular office attendance is expected.
