Senior Day Coach (Senior Residential Support Worker)
Location: Ninfield
About The Role
We are seeking passionate and resilient Senior Coaches (Senior Residential Support Workers) to join our Ofsted Registered Children’s Residential Home in Ninfield. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who have experienced trauma, instability and adversity, helping them to build safe, stable and ambitious futures.
As a Senior Coach, you will lead practice on shift, support less experienced staff and help maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and behaviour management within the home.
You will work closely with Team Leaders and management to create a stable, nurturing and structured environment where young people feel safe, understood and supported to achieve positive outcomes.
Our home is a 4‑bed children’s residential home supporting young people aged 10 to 16 with profound learning disabilities and complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD and challenging behaviours. Some young people may be non‑verbal or low‑verbal and use alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton or AAC devices. Adults must remain emotionally resilient and responsive during periods of dysregulation, using calm and therapeutic approaches to support positive outcomes and maintain safety.
At SuperCare, we are committed to delivering outstanding care. Our approach is progressive, therapeutic and grounded in understanding behaviour, relationships and development. SuperCare operates a 24‑hour, 365‑day service. Flexibility is essential within this role.
