Senior Salesforce Developer
London | Onsite | Up to £80,000 DoE
We are working with a fast-scaling, commercially driven business in London to find a Senior Salesforce Developer who is ready to take real ownership of a complex, business-critical platform.
This is not a role where you will be handed a ticket queue and left to it. You will work directly alongside senior leadership, influence technical decisions, and play a central role in evolving a highly customised Salesforce environment into something genuinely scalable and future-ready.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Salesforce is the engine of this business. It drives the commercial operation, connects to key financial and data systems, and feeds the reporting that leadership relies on every day. The platform has been built with real ambition and is already handling significant complexity, but they now need a senior developer to take ownership of it and drive the next phase of its evolution.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility position for someone who wants to be the technical authority in the room, not just a contributor.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Taking end-to-end ownership of a customised Sales Cloud environment, from architecture decisions through to build, testing, and release
- Writing and maintaining clean, efficient Apex and LWC while actively working to reduce unnecessary code complexity over time
- Championing a low to no code approach where appropriate, using flows and native functionality to build for long-term scalability
- Advising stakeholders on technical design, integrations, and platform best practice
- Supporting and optimising integrations with key third party systems across finance and data
- Contributing to data structuring work that will support future AI and automation initiatives
- Setting the development standard and being the go-to technical voice across the business
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
You are a developer who takes pride in writing code that holds up. You understand Salesforce deeply, know when to build custom and when not to, and you are as comfortable in a stakeholder conversation as you are in a developer console.
- 5 plus years of Salesforce development experience in live, complex environments
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certified as a minimum requirement, additional certifications are a strong advantage and highly encouraged
- Strong Apex and LWC skills, essential for this role
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and when to apply declarative versus programmatic solutions
- Flow proficiency and a genuine appreciation for low to no code where it makes sense
- Experience working within a controlled change process including sandbox, testing, and release management
- Comfortable with data modelling and working across integrated systems
- An interest in AI and its practical application within Salesforce is a real advantage
- Strong communicator who can translate technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders
CERTIFICATIONS
Salesforce Platform Developer I is the minimum requirement for this role. Candidates holding additional certifications such as Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or any architect level credentials are strongly encouraged to apply and will be looked upon very favourably.
THE CULTURE
This is a fast-paced, commercially minded business where the technology team is embedded in the operation rather than sitting at a distance from it. Collaboration is central to how they work and the team spends the majority of the week together onsite in Central London. If you do your best work when you are close to the business and the people driving it, this will suit you well.
If you are a certified Senior Salesforce Developer who wants ownership, influence, and a platform worth building on, we would love to hear from you.
Please apply with your CV or reach out directly to discuss.
