Working as part of our talented and highly committed care teams, Registered Nurses are an integral part of our homes. You will work closely with the managers within the home to ensure the highest standard of person-centred resident care. Some of your main duties will include:
* Ensuring all staff contribute to the efficient running of the care home and foster an atmosphere conducive to residents' best interests.
* Providing general observations and support.
* Wound care management.
* Leading and supporting your team with regular supervisions to assess and identify training needs.
* Standing in for the Deputy Home Manager and/or the Home Manager in their absence if required.
* Reporting any resident ill health and arranging GP/professional visits as necessary.
* Ensuring residents' Care Plans are completed, maintained, and reviewed regularly in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy, in collaboration with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
* Assessing residents' care needs and providing health supervision and direct nursing care when needed.
* Maintaining accurate records and individualised Care Plans for each resident.
* Carrying out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Home Manager.
* Providing clear handover reports at the end of each shift.
* Administering, ordering, and storing prescribed medicines following company procedures and NMC guidelines.
* Practicing maximum integrity in handling residents' personal and financial affairs.
* Establishing and maintaining good communication with residents, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team.
* Adhering to all relevant NMC guidelines/regulations and maintaining required logbooks and records.
The night shift is from 20:00 to 08:00.
We seek a leader with a passion for hands-on care, mentoring, coaching, and motivating the care team to deliver high-quality care. The role requires:
* People management skills: supportive, communicative, adaptable, and capable of building strong relationships.
* Organisation and process orientation: efficient prioritisation and documentation skills.
* Teamwork: willingness to work within and support your team.
* A valid NMC License with at least 1 year of nursing practice experience.
