JOB TITLE: Business Development & Sales Support Executive EMPLOYING ENTITY: Dutypoint Limited EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent LOCATION: Office - Wigan HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 per week REPORTS TO: Office Sales Manager - Flowtech PURPOSE OF ROLE: This role is a mixture of supporting the existing sales personnel and communicating with customers to close out deals. The role will include selecting products to best suit the customer’s specific requirements and also following up quotations to close out orders. TEAM FUNCTION: To provide exemplary customer service from initial enquiry, providing technical support, following up the quote to close the order. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Follow-up quotes on the CRM system, and adding key data to the CRM where necessary * Proactive calls to existing or new customers * Locating and tracking down opportunities, network with different influencers and customer types to create quotable opportunities of the complete Fluid Water Group portfolio * Give technical advice and assisting customers with product selections and recommendations to suit their needs * Working with customers post order to ensure experience exceeds expectations MEASURES OF SUCCESS: * Regional M&E Orders & Invoices * Number of proactive activities, such as carrying out calls to existing and new customers * Maintain value of flipped pipeline, by carrying out quote follow up and close order activities. Forecasting outcomes on a regular basis * Close orders to exceed set targets KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Experience in working with customers who purchase technical equipment, ideally in the building services sector * Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable in networking with internal and external contacts * Competent Level of IT Skills * Knowledge of clean water boosting and/or heating systems ATTRIBUTES: * Self-motivated, tenacious, inquisitive, driven to succeed, and results oriented – want to win * Friendly demeanour that can build relationships easily * Can do attitude, happy to arrange, attend and lead meetings * Operate as part of wider team * Excellent organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
