Job Description
Our client is a consumer electronics brand based in Berkshire. The business is well established and has grown from strength to strength over the last few years. They have a very strong innovation pipeline and are looking for a commercial lead to run their retail channels.
You will be accountable for a small pan European team managing and growing the business. Whilst the company is successful and trading well there is an appetite to increase sales distribution across other markets in Europe (and beyond) and to ramp up top line sales.
This role combines “hunting” new accounts, “farming” current ones with a strong emphasis on a contact base across UK retail. In addition you will be leading a small multi country team to continue to expand into new markets.
This is a Director level role and is hybrid home/office.
You will have the following skill set:
* Experience across consumer electronics, consumer medical devices or health and wellness.
* A strong contact book across the UK retail sales market is required. Any European experience would be a strong benefit.
* Track record in opening new retailer and distribution relationships.
* Highly numerate and commercially minded.
* Highly organised and a strong commercial leader.
* Comfortable working in a matrix environment influencing functions that do not sit in your direct reporting line.
