?? MondayFriday (Days) + call out Were currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established business within the renewable energy sector, supporting a biogas facility in the North Gloucestershire area.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical or electrical background who enjoys a hands-on role in a varied environment. Youll be working as part of a small team, getting involved in a wide range of maintenance activities across plant equipment and site infrastructure.
Training will be provided on the process, but prior hands-on engineering or maintenance experience is essential.
The Role
Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment and site machinery
Carrying out planned maintenance and routine servicing
Assisting with fault finding and breakdown response
Supporting repairs, installations, and general site improvements
Working on a variety of equipment including pumps, processing plant, and site services
Recording work carried out using a maintenance system
Assisting with stock control and basic parts management
Liaising with contractors and supporting works on site
Working across different areas of the site in a hands-on capacity
Following health & safety procedures at all times
About You
Mechanical or Electrical background (NVQ / City & Guilds or similar, or time-served)
Hands-on maintenance or engineering experience xkybehq
Comfortable working in an outdoor / processing environment
Strong work ethic and team player
Keen to learn and get involved in a varied role
Able to commit to a call out rota
