Job Purpose:
To oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company objectives. The role is especially focused on real estate, investment, commercial, and operational sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts:
Commercial and special leasing agreements
Entertainment contracts
Construction agreements
Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
Lead and manage the entire contract lifecycle: approvals, documentation, renewals, amendments, and closures.
Ensure accurate contract implementation through government platforms such as EJAR and NAFITH.
Monitor and ensure tenant and partner compliance with contractual obligations.
Maintain comprehensive digital and physical archives of contracts and related documents.
Coordinate with departments (operations, facilities, legal) for contract handovers, evacuations, and issue resolutions.
Prepare legal and operational reports related to contract status, violations, renewals, and store performance.
Liaise with tenants and stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes and clarify terms.
Collaborate with legal advisors to initiate and follow up on litigation procedures.
Continuously improve and streamline contract management processes in line with company goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Law (required)
Master's degree in Law (preferred)
Relevant legal diplomas or certifications in contract management/arbitration are a plus
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of hands-on legal and contract management experience
Proven leadership in managing legal or contracts departments, especially in real estate, investment, or construction sectors
Key Skills:
Expert knowledge of contract law, especially in the real estate and commercial fields
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Proficiency in contract management systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, EJAR, NAFITH)
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and cross-departmental communication
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Languages:
English: Good command (spoken and written)
