The Role
You will deliver high quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses. You will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
Note: this post is part time (21.6 hours) and salary is pro rata.
In this key role, you will:
* Assist in delivery of high quality care to meet patient needs
* Assist clinicians within a variety of clinical settings as required
* Following appropriate training, the post holder will carry out tasks as delegated by a registered nurse, e.g. blood pressure, phlebotomy
* Support patients, relatives and carers in order to achieve optimum health and person centred outcomes
What You'll Bring:
* SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment
* A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence
