Contract Business Analyst - Digital/Tech Consultancy - Hybrid/Leeds - Outside IR35
What you’ll be doing
We have several exciting projects scheduled to start in the coming months. We’re looking to expand our pool of talented contract business analysts to help define client requirements and deliver excellent outcomes.
As a business analyst at Answer, you will play a key role in helping our clients understand their problems. You will ask the question "why?" to deeply understand their issues and help develop an analysis approach that achieves the best results, tailoring playbooks to specific needs.
What you’ll bring to Answer
* Utilisation and advisory experience with industry-standard analysis skills and techniques within business change and software development life cycles.
* Expertise in discovery activities, comfortable working with ambiguity, and capable of shaping and clarifying needs to define scope, manage requirements and backlogs, and structure statements of work.
* Ability to ensure the functional integrity of solutions, prioritising and satisfying key elements of the business case through business requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal skills—articulate, engaging, and confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong presentation skills, capable of transforming complex ideas into clear narratives tailored to different audiences.
* Demonstrable commercial acumen, understanding value, and aligning scope and requirements accordingly when making decisions or recommendations.
* A natural curiosity, with the ability to question, collaborate, shape ideas, and solve problems creatively.
* Experience delivering projects using various software development methodologies.
* Knowledge of Lean, Systems Thinking, JTBD, VMOST.
* Experience across multiple sectors; experience or passion for Healthcare tech is a plus.
