Overview
Capital City College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled CSCS Lecturer to join our London-based team in Enfield. This full-time, permanent role involves teaching CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and construction-related skills to learners, delivering high-quality teaching, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting students through both academic and pastoral guidance. The role covers entry level to Level 2 in CSCS and related skills, in line with CITB/CSCS and other awarding bodies.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for CSCS and construction-related skills from Entry Level to Level 2.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enhance teaching practices in line with awarding bodies’ requirements.
* Inspire and support students to achieve their goals and progress within their chosen field.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to learners and maintain an inclusive, learner-focused learning environment.
* Engage in ongoing professional development, mentoring, and opportunities for growth within a vibrant London learning community.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven experience in construction, site safety, or CSCS-related training.
* Strong knowledge of CSCS regulations, health and safety, and vocational training frameworks.
* Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching.
* A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one).
* Ability to deliver to a diverse range of learners and inspire them to reach their full potential.
