The Job: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter
As an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer, you know what quality looks like - and in this role, your attention to detail and craftsmanship will be front and centre.
Responsibilities
* Painting repaired vehicles to a high standard using trusted systems like Glasurit, Spies Hecker, or PPG
* Working confidently with modern water-based paint systems
* Preparing vehicles for paint – by hand or machine – ensuring every surface is ready for a flawless finish
* Mixing and matching colours using both traditional techniques and computerised technology for perfect accuracy
* Applying primers and top coats using spray guns, rubbing down between coats for a smooth result
* Performing seamless blends – essential for invisible repairs
* Handling everything from full resprays to touch-ups and final polish
* Removing masking materials and finishing the job with wax and polish
* Applying rust-proofing treatments where required
* Working inside a dedicated spray booth to maintain quality and contain overspray
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
* Strong technical knowledge of car painting processes and repair methods
* A keen eye for detail and the skills to ensure consistently high-quality finishes
* An ATA accreditation or Level 3 equivalent qualification is a big plus
