About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who require additional support to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where required.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential).
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) desirable.
