This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the face of the business, delivering excellent service, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a professional centre.You will play a key role at the front desk, working closely with the Centre Operations Manager to ensure the centre is welcoming, well organised, and operating safely and efficiently.The RoleAs the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will be responsible for creating a warm, professional first impression while supporting front-of-house, hospitality, and operational tasks across the centre.Key ResponsibilitiesReception & Front of HouseProvide a professional and welcoming reception service to members and visitorsAct as the first point of contact in person, by phone, and via emailBuild strong professional relationships with members and guestsSupport hospitality, events, and daily front-of-house activityMaintain a polished, organised reception and communal areasOperations & AdministrationSupport the Centre Operations Manager with day-to-day centre operationsAssist with billing, upselling, and basic administrative tasksEnsure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and GDPR requirementsHelp maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environmentAnticipate customer needs and contribute to the smooth running of daily activitiesSkills & AttributesFriendly, professional, and confident at front-of-houseExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organisational and time management skillsAdaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently while also being a team playerHigh attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standardsReliable, proactive, and naturally customer-focusedExperience & RequirementsPrevious reception, front-of-house, or customer service experience is essentialHospitality or customer-facing experience is highly desirableConfident using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)Comfortable learning new systems and processesMinimum Grade C (or equivalent) in English and MathsWhy Apply?This is a great opportunity to join a professional, people-focused environment where front-of-house standards and customer experience are truly valued.
