Digital Project Manager Role at Crown Paints: Spearheading Industry 4.0 Digital Transformation Crown Paints, a leading UK paint manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Digital Project Manager to drive the execution of our Industry 4.0 Roadmap. Reporting to the Digital Change Lead, this pivotal role will support the design, development, and implementation of priority digital solutions, significantly improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and business growth. Join our team and play a crucial role in crafting and creating the roadmap for implementing Industry 4.0, redefining our manufacturing processes and business operations. Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to Coordinate the full lifecycle of digital projects, including scope, budgets, and detailed planning, to ensure smooth delivery within quality, time, and budget constraints Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for the design, development, and implementation of Operations Industry 4.0 digital projects, such as site launches, cloud-based applications, and data analytics Ensure effective project governance and methodology selection, tailor-fit to end goal needs. Proactively identify, raise, and mitigate project risks and issues Maintain detailed documentation and reporting, including risk logs and project progress Lead, empower, and align project teams towards achieving project goals, encouraging collaboration across functions Confidently present project statuses and insights to a range of collaborators, from end users to C-level executives. What should you bring to be successful in this role Proven experience in Digital Project Management, ideally within a 'smart manufacturing' context Deep understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) Hands-on experience with project management software (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps) and methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum) Outstanding coordination, organisation and time management skills. Coupled with people leadership, partner management, and relationship building skills. Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools Desirable: Experience or knowledge in Industry 4.0 within a manufacturing setting, especially related to paint manufacturing or similar industries.
