 
        Job Description The Software Engineering Manager will play a key leadership role within the Engineering function, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering. This position is responsible for leading multiple agile engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery aligned with business goals. The role focuses on team development, resource planning, and driving technical excellence across the engineering function. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of working closely with Product Management, Architects, and other stakeholders to deliver the product roadmap while instilling best practices in engineering, documentation, and operational support. As a pivotal member of the leadership team within the Belfast Centre of Excellence, the Software Engineering Manager will foster a collaborative, high-performance culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, organisational growth, and operational success. Job Requirements 10 years industry experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience building and leading Technical Agile Engineering Team(s) Delivering and maintaining capacity planning across multiple your engineering teams Capable of building highly scalable production software Strong stakeholder management skills Expertise in mobile and web-technologies Aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to apply logic and experience to assist with the development of solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Responsibilities Drive team performance through product delivery to meet business needs. Develop effective teams of skilled professionals providing direction and coaching of agile working practices. Build strong relationships engaging with peers and other colleagues working to common purposes from within the IT function and the wider business. Expected to understand the business needs and lead your team to support delivery of the Product Roadmap.
